INSTRUCTIONS TO BUYERS

Four Easy Steps

1.    Choose the stamps you want. Enter the information along with your contact information into an e-mail message to salesdept@washingtonstamps.com with your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, proposed method of payment, and a list of the items you want, one per line. Submitting the form will notify Washington Stamp Company that you would like to reserve the stamps for purchase. Please indicate whether you wish to pay by check, money order, PayPal, or credit card (which card?).

2.    We will reserve the stamps you list for 7 days and send you an immediate confirmatory e-mail message, telling you how much they will cost.  This is a necessary step because many items are one of a kind and a few of those may already have been sold.

3a.  Print out our e-mail message and send it to us by mail together with a check or money order in US dollars payable from or through a US bank. Our address is P. O. Box 34430, Bethesda, MD 20827.

3b.  Send us a payment through PayPal. Our PayPal address is our e-mail address: salesdept@washingtonstamps.com

OR

3c. Send us a message requesting an e-mail bill that will allow you to pay on line by means of PayPal or any of the following credit cards: VISA, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover. (Your credit card payment will go to us through PayPal.)

4.   We will send you the stamps within 7 days of receipt of your order.  Shipping charges: $1 in the US, $2 to $6 abroad (depending on size of envelope and weight); $12.95 registry domestic (required for orders over $1000); $15.45 registry abroad (required for orders over $150).

DISCOUNTS: Deduct 5% on orders over $50 and 10% on orders over $111. For People's Republic of China stamps and French stamps (except for 2000 onward), and deduct 15% on orders over $250.

INSURANCE: Mailings are privately insured.
